Complex Care
At Nala Support & Disability Services, we’re experts at assisting people in the comfort of their own homes who’ve been discharged back into the community after time in hospital. We offer bespoke, highly-focused care that’s unique to each individual.
Not only do we directly manage the clinical complex care needs of client, but we conduct on-site training of care assistants with competency sign-offs, too, along with provide on-going support to our community support workers.
Complex Care is delivered by highly trained support workers and nurses, and can include:
- Complex Bowel Care
- Pressure Area & Wound Management
- Tracheostomy Care
- Enteral Feeding & Management
- Manage Diabetes & Subcutaneous Injections
- High Risk of Seizures
- Positive Behaviour Support Plans
Complex care seeks to improve health and well-being for people with complex health and social needs by coordinating and reshaping care delivery at the individual, community, and system levels.
